specifications for a normal mr mace

Hi, so i took out the led strip on my mace and i want to make another led strip like matotska. What are the specs and and amps of a regular mr battery pack. how many leds can it withstand. i know the max voltage is 12 but what about amps im using blue 5mm

Digital Multi Meter. Your friend it is. ;)

I don't know where you are getting a max voltage of 12V... That is more than TWICE what you should ever run through an MR board.

Unless you like to see blue genie smoke, and smell burning silicon.
