I was wondering, the Pipe Cutter on the website, will that actually cut a 1 1/2" sink tube? It says up to 1 1/8" so I'm kind of doubting it. Thanks!

Never tried but it does say only up to 1-1/8" so I doubt it would also.

Maybe he should use the BFH9000, That generally works on anything.[:p]

Although, I can't seem to get the Tap attachment to work correctly! I just keeps cross threading.

I think you need something a little bigger like a Sawzall or of course the Ole Faithful like Firebird said.

I have a cordless Sawzall!!! That thing is almost as awsome as the BFH-9000! It definely blows away the BFH-8999...

I tryed bringing it into the Cut-Your-Own xmas tree place and they shunned it away. lol

18 or 24? I have the 18 Milwaukee but have used the 24 Dewalt a few times. They were afraid you'd show up the chain saws[;)]

Nothing special, but it gets the job done! :Tim Allen Grunt:

...Wait a second...

So if it says it can only handle 1 1/8", what exactly is the point of selling it? Aren't nearly all hardware sabers made from 1.25-1.5" tubes?

I'm not an expert on tools, so maybe I'm overlooking something?

It's for the PolyC.

Most use the cut off wheel on the sink tubes. A pipe cutter can dent and scratch the chrome.

No that you couldn't use it... But Tim’s cutter is for the PolyC. To the best of my limited knowledge.

I think the main purpose for this is to make EL and LED blades. I pretty much made all but one of my EL's and the job is easy with a good pipe cutter.

EDIT: typing slow sucks. What Firebird said.
