(Excuse me for my bad english but I'm french, and there are no one in the plecter Labs forum)

Hello everyone,
I want my saber since I've seen my first starwars, and this forum is perfect for help me. I tried to make some sabers in the past, but I've no idea it was possible with a luminescent blade etc... This picture is what I've built.

My future project is this sort of saber (certainly the chrome one). I would like to use a 5W RVB luxeon LED (but is it possible ?) and put a R-V-B selector on my saber.
I would like to use a bargraph indicator for the level power.
And I would like to use an old hasbro sound card.
I don't know if all I want is possible or not, say me if you know, thanks

Welcome to the forums!

What you are trying to do is possible. You need to get a RGB Rebel LED (there are no V RGBs) and put a rotary switch on it.

Please reduce the size of your pictures - I sent you a PM on the subject as well ;)

LOL, Maul, I think he is meaning RGB, but in French, it's Rouge-Vert-Bleu.

Or, RVB. ;)

Though my mind also went straight to that Classic Rooster-teeth Mechanimation series Red vs Blue :D

ahah Yes I made a mistake. It's RGB that I'd like to use. I changed the size of my pictures, is it good ? Thanks for the replies. Say me what color you like !

Welcome! I like the hilt in the third picture the best, but it needs a blue blade. :D

Is there a thread that addresses the RGB LED and how to mount & wire it with a rotary switch to change the colors? I haven't found it yet. :confused:

Welcome Luc! I happen to like the hilt with the purple/lavender tint. All of the information you need is here on these forums.
