Nope. That is the 616 Joe Jedi, Tim never made a kit for it.

Oh, so that's a 616 Joe Jedi!
Didn't know what those were. :p
But bummer, I found a pretty killer deal on eBay for just the hilt components, no electronics.
Figured it would make for a cheap LED saber.
Ah, well. Thanks. :3

My next question would be, does any of Tim's kits work on the Palpatine/Sidious MR?

If the kit you found on ebay still has the inner aluminum tube, the
TCSS 1.25 inch bladeholder fits it like a glove.

I believe it does.
The kit on eBay has just the parts, no electronics.
Since I'm not too familiar with the Joe Jedi saber kit, you'll have to tell me.

since the pommel is attached, as is the emitter, then yes it has the aluminum tube.

Ah, cool.
So, do you think that a 1.25" sinktube would fit inside there to replace the tube?

The tube has a special lip on it to hold the emitters on and holes at the bottom for the locking pin to hold the pieces in place, so I would leave it. Like ArkaiHalon said you could just throw the 1.25" blade holder in it and maybe a US 2.0. That would be sick.

think of the metal tube as a 1.25" SINKTUBE and build your electronics then slide the parts over the metal tube and Voila!

Uh, did you happen to do a search at all? I did a very explicit tutorial on this very subject just like 6 months ago! It is right there in the MR tuts section.
