Ok, for my first TCSS Forum question....

Is it possible to have MHS parts media blasted and then powder coated for a true textured-matte-colored surface?

Welcome to the forum, mate. :)
I don't see any reason why not, though I'm not exactly well educated in the art of media blasting.

It actually makes the powdercoat apply better.

It's the equivalent of sanding before painting. The paint sticks better.

although I dont knwo if it will give you a 'textured' look.. I supposed it depends on what grit media you use perhaps?

check out a powdercoating forum... you'll get all sorts of good info.

http://forum.caswellplating.com/ is a decent one..

As long as the PC is in a thick enough coat you won't get a textured look.

My sanding before painting analogy comes back. The paint still goes smooth ;)
