over to the luxeon 3w and was wonder if I should replace the blade too or just use the original blade, also is the blade removable once the conversion is done?

You can replace the blade but the one's Tim sells needs sanding to fit as the holder is meant for the MR blade. Yes, the blade is removable after it's converted though.

Get Tim's blade it is totally worth it. If you have done any dualing with the Fx then there may be dents or creases in the diffuser. I had several but it's not noticeable with the standard string but with the superbright LUX you see all the rough spots. Not to mention you can dual with a truck if you have Tim's blade.

Xwing the vader kit is design for the 1" poly-c tube that Tim sells it is a tight fit that requires a little sanding and it works fine. The MR blade fits loose in the converted MR with the new holder.

Do-Clo is right...it was designed for my blades..it just seems to be a very tight fit for some.

You can reuse the stock MR blade by putting some clear or reflective tape around the base to make it a tad bit bigger.<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></blockquote id="quote"></font id="quote">

I want to thank you for all your advice it made my decision much easier, i just order the conversion kit and the blade and blade parts,

Also I thought this was funny last night I took my saber to work at a homeless shelter and some of the residents and site manager loved it, the site manager even used to wake up the residents this morning.

i knew that, cuz i done a convert on a mr vader. and as tim knows, a couple of us, have had a small problem with the fit. holder is just a tad big, so its a tight fit getting it back in. sanding will help this, and the blades dont seem to go in without doin some sanding on the inside either. simple fixes, just takes a lil time sanding , thats all.

You dont know the POWER, of the dark side...
