Hello to all, new guy here!
I am on my way to building my first "saber" (while my kid laughs, lol)
I have been reading the forums and learning a lot, however i cannot find exact info on what i need.
Recently i came across a great buy on Ebay, this is what i got:
White luxeon III
Reflectors.
1 watt (mom) corbin driver (version 1)
Hasbro sound board.
Now do i need a heat sink?
Also the board that i got from ebay is empty where i placed the yellow arrow in the picture, what am i missing?

They say a picture is worth a million words so in order to make it easier for you guys to help us n00bs i figured i'd post a picture of what i need.
Thank you all for your guidance and help.

Hey anubis, this is my understanding of what you're asking:

You want to run your Lux3 White off the corbin board and also run sound - using one switch. The corbin board that you have is does not have some of the [what appears to be] circuitry as the picture. Am I tracking so far?

The picture just shows the wires poking from the back, so there's should only be holes or dots there. ;) no biggie there.

You'll need a DPDT momentary, of course, but really the oly things on the hasbro board that you'll need to worry about are the Battery connections, speaker connections and switch leads. otherwise it's good. Race you to find the right diagram! Ready? Go! ;)

Dude, you were there! ;)

This is the right diagram. Really the only difference, is the board, and if the pic in this thread is the board you have, just follow the labled lines. If it confuses you, just go back to the diagram - don't worry about extra-curricular BS, this is the way to do it.

Good Luck! :)

Close... ;) on those mini tactile momentary switches - same side are the two that get connected. I'm fairly certain that switch will work. But with two separate circuits, I would recommend a DPDT switch.

...But I've never tried what you're doing, so I can't really say for sure. :p

Good luck!
