Help with Hasbro Sound

I need help with a voltage issue.....And yes I am a nOOb to the voltage issues. I have a basic setup, Royal Blue Luxeon III, 2.2 resistor, stsp switch, with 4 X AA battery pack. What do I need to do to add this hasbro sound board to my saber so I don't fry it. Or will it hold up the 6 Volts??? It came out of a Luke Skywalker saber that ran on 2 X C batteries... Help!!!!!!!875
