The battery input voltage says a min for the lux 3 and K2 of 4.5v. When I look at Youtube videos from Ultra I see him using two of the Trustfires which are at 3.7v. Then, I see the newly added MHS sound combo which is the 2.0 mounted to a 2AA battery holder. It states "Designed to be used with 2x TrustFire 3.7v protected cells.". What really is the minimum input voltage when a K2 is being used with the US2.0?

I don't have any myself, but I believe that EACH Trustfire cell is 3.7 volts. That means the double AA holder would produce 7.4 volts with two Trustfires.

Same as a III. 4.5V, though more is always better for ensuring that your LED has enough to be running at it's peak. The board needs approximately 1V higher than it's forward voltage and to ensure that I'd ideally think 6V or higher would be good.

My mistake. I read it as if the batteries as a pair put out 3.7v instead of each.
