I looked at a few before Halloween but was unsure of the quality. I'm limited to online orders because of my location. Just would like to know where to find one - keep in mind: I'm not small. I'm 6'2" tall and go about 250lbs. Where should I look?

It cost me $15 to make a really nice, heavy robe.

They have gotten good reviews from Rebel Legion members.

Hey samurai_rob try http://www.twinrosesdesigns.com/index.html I got my Jedi tunic (Silk) and robe (Wool) from them and I love them, but now I need pants. I'm 6' 325 and the robes weren't even custom made they were just the ones they make that will fit up to a 60" chest I think. A little pricey but worth the cost (at least to me).

I'm pretty happy with my MM robe. It's the heavy cotton-twill version (resembles denim more than anything else, IMO), not the wool, and it's still pretty stiff despite several wash/dry cycles - but it's VERY strongly-made, looks good, and fits me well. Ought to be pretty warm this Saturday for the Richmond (VA) Christmas Parade.

If you're interested in getting the highest quality regardless of cost, I recommend twinroses above anyone else. I shelled out about $500 for my custom robes, but the quality cannot be beat.

I've bookmarked several eBay store items, can anyone here give me data on the stores or better yet, the items they sell? See below:

your best bet is to find a taylor or a good sewing person in your area. then you can chose the fabric and get the perfect fit. and if you sew you could make it for cheap, thats what I'm doing.

Thanks for all the info, guys! Unfortunately, I've looked and there is no one in my area that does that kind of tailoring. The bane of living in a back water part of Kentucky... gotta do everything online or drive a hundred miles. I'll check out this twin roses place and the ebay links and see what I can find. I'll let you know what I go with. Thanks again! :D

I recommend Twin Roses very highly, I've delt with them for my Jedi costume and it's very nice, including my custom piece.
