I just want to know what is the best dueling blade in your guys opinion?

A thick walled blade (1/8") is the best for dueling. It is twice as thick as a thin walled blade (1/16").

EDIT: I just checked the store and the blades are even labeled "Show blade" and "Battle blade"

Thin walled blades can be used for dueling as well...

In general, you just don't want to "mix" blades. As in your pal has THICK and you have THIN. Then you duel. That would be bad. :)

On the same line of the above question. I am building LuxIII sabers for my kids for X-mas but am weighing (literally) the benefits of durability vs. weight. I want to keep them as light as possible but my kids do tend to "whack the crap out of eachother". are the 3/4" PCtubes pretty durable? or should I go with the 1" thick walled? If anyone knows the ~weight I would appreciate it. Thanks,

1" think walled is pretty much the best for a kids saber, I think. It's light but very durable
