View Full Version : Need help with Concepts and Naming?

I didnt want to post this in the gallery after reading the gallery rules for photos and such, so i decided to post here to avoid being burned :twisted:
trying to come up with a nice name for this hilt. i cant consider the concept done until this happens, and im a bit supersticious....i cant start making it til i have a name :(

Any suggestions?

Secret(or close to it)

SHIGURIDDO

"I" sounds like ee in meet, but shorter. "U" sounds like oo in hook, but with less rounding of the lips. "O" sounds like o in old.

Nautilus seems to fit well with that saber. and I would change the ribbed and blade holder sections to black.:)

thanx for the names thus far guys (and/or gals) thus far, nautilus seems to click, and now that i look at it, it does like good ole capt. nemos boat lol. and the ribbed and blade holder being black....i like that, the only thing is that i used MS paint to put the saber together, and its a big pain, but i think i can mess with it and post both sabers together to see which looks the best.

It's very streamlined and reminds me of a knife. I would go with Sever.

i do believe im going to have to go with "Nautillus". as said previously, it does seem to fit the saber quite well (since now that i look at it, it seems to resemble a submarine) tyvm for the name!

ok, MS paint is a pain to work with when it comes to drawing curved pieces and all, and my corel program doesnt help matters either, but ive got a new design (if i spent as much time designing as i would making the darn sabers, id have a wall full of em lol) so id like to have a poll, i will leave it open for a week until i get a name set, and the two names are either....

Serpentine, or Succubus..... i cant decide on my own :(

It looks sharp so should have a sharp name like serpentine. However, scathe or sting would work too.
