Just like the title says... let's call it out and see what all these sabers and other props are finally going to be used for! I'll start it out with my "Old Ben" Kenobi costume:

My Star Wars costumes are for my Membership to the Rebel Legion, not for Halloween costumes. http://www.rebellegion.com/forum/images/smiles/mindtrikrz8.gif

Not that I haven't worn my Jedi costume to a Halloween party before.

I also have Rebel Fleet Trooper and Endor Commando costumes. :)

Here's mine (also used for the Rebel Legion) but I'll throw it on any chance I get.

Let me guess...

You're the invisible man?

Edit:

Just ignore me. For some reason, the first time I looked at this post, I couldn't see any pictures.

Now I can. Weird...

Nice costume, BTW. Some day I'd love to make a Stormtrooper.

I need to figure out how to do Jedi robes myself - my sewing skills are crap, and I'm thinking my wallet may have to do the work for me. Again. Stormtrooper armor - unless I happen to have a couple grand to spare when a 501st guy sells his - is never gonna happen.

Though - and this would be much better for, say, a convention where people are into the more obscure costumes - the Team Fortress 2 Medic coat (http://www.cosplaymagic.com/tefo2meco.html) I stumbled across is giving me ideas for a Jedi Twilight-style costume... maybe this safety jacket (http://www.ridersmall.com/main/armr/A/Safety_Jacket_A1J.htm) thing I saw could be used as armor... Clone Wars Jedi in hiding as merc...

But, yeah, my Halloween costume this year... really isn't. I'm deployed with the Army and have to work - if I'm lucky I may have energy to change into civvies and relax for a while.

you are a brave man posting a picture of your wife in that costume. ALSO A VERY LUCKY MAN. My girlfriend only wore the costume I made her because she really liked her chest armor.

Is that a Jedi hoodie? :p It doesn't quite look like a robe. The hood needs to be stitched on seperately.

I know. I totally stiched the hood on wrong. (I realized after the fact and didn't have the time to take the seam out and redo) I had origanally planed on doing the sewing over like a week but I ended up havin an asthma attack (First one in 15 years) and going to the hospital so I had to sew this all in one day. AND this is the first time I had sewn in like 5 years so it was a slap together job.

The collar on the shirt was sewn layered and wrapped around my neck but it kept falling down and gathering. (Looked great up but drinking and jokeing around it kept crapping out on me) I think I have an idea for doing that better next time also.

Wrong on left the way I did it...
right on Right the way I should and will fix it...

promised jedi robes 2.0 will be much better!

I tryed to use the jedi -blondes in pigtails- mindtrick but it only works on the week minded...

I gotta rework the tabbards. I think they are a little too floppy.

Yes, they are a little wide at the shoulders, which is part of the problem.

WE SO ROCKED THE PARADE!

My mother texted me and told me that she saw me and the group on TV news 7 during the opening of the news and they covered the story...

I Really like the style of these. They're perfect Jedi Ranger costumes, and would fit in any Grey Jedi group. Nice work.

As for myself... Well my costumes in progress and is quite a bit of work, but I'm trying to get a friend to do a nice concept picture for me (I'm no artist). If I do I'll post it when she's done.

Hey DizzyKungFu,

I really like your clown wars armor from another thread. How did you create that? where did you find it? It's an amazing costume, my friend.

Hey DizzyKungFu,

Ah, thanks! It's made by me and customized to my shape cuz at the time I didn't know anyone who made and sold it online... now, who knows? I used white Sintra PVC, which comes in big sheets. I cut the pieces I wanted, shaped them with a heat gun, and glued as necessary with some Weld-On 16. That got the rough shape. Then a WHOLE LOT of Bondo, sanding, painting, weathering, etc. It was a lot of trial and error, but it eventually came out into what you see. I use it mostly for Rebel Legion charity events in my region. We mostly do stuff to benefit the Jimmy Fund and Toys for Tots. The kids LOVE it and totally recognize what character I'm going for. :D

For those of you who don't know what Scythe is talking about, here are the pictures again, for reference:
