That band saw is the one in my college's wood shop... it's an industrial meat saw. The upright saw is the same one Lowes and Home Depot use to cut plywood.

Lucky bastard...

I must confess... I stopped reading 3/4 of the way into his post. I was in a hurry.

yeah, thought it was a put on when I read it then saw the end of the thread....

though my uncle did once goto a yard sale held by a widow. He was buying some items and noticed an '84 Cadillac Seville in the garage. He asked her about it and she sighed and said she might as well sell it too......he only paid $50 for it!!!!
I know it was real because when he dies a few years later I got the car!!!

Reality often interferes with what would otherwise be an idyllic delusion.

I will admit I did once buy a car for $25.00 once and drove it home, no brakes though, but then who needs stinking brakes anyway. [:D]

Oh Man! That's a good place for a French joke but I guess we'll keep it nice.

Hey don't worry about the french joke I am the one who had to drive that thing. It was one ugly little box of a car, but at least it was good on gas and would run just about anything else into the ground on curved roads.

My father drove a Renault wagon for a while in the early 90's. The spare tire was mounted in the rear of the wagon under a carpet panel. One summer day it got so hot back there that the tire pop'd like a balloon. A rather loud balloon as it sounded like a gun shoot and scared him to death and almost caused an accident. It is rather funny now though, my brothers and I liked to kid that the tire 'surrenderd' to the sun.

I would say that having a tire pop in the back of a wagon would cause a lot of excitment. One would also have to change the underwear too.[:D]
