ok guys i just bought a brand new, hasbro darth vader, saber and i dont know what kind of holes to drill for my saber, for the sound to come out of. i need some help here are some pics, of what kinda holes i was thinking of.

^^^ That was with a modular pommel but it applies to this too. I'd go for holes on a "pepper shaker" pattern.

will this idea work? this is sorta what it looks like in the hasbro, so i decided to use it, what i meant by this pic was maybe that both the light and the sound be 2 different things. what i mean is, that the batteries power the el, and sound.

Yeah, red and black for positive and negative wires would help but I think I know what you mean. You can wire them seperatly and use two switches but that's not necessary.

no its gonna have this, little nub on the bottom and the wires from the switch will connect to the blade or whatever u use to turn it on, and i will connect the 2 wires to the batteries, and connect the blade. i just dunnno if it will work tho. ill take a pic of it and show u for more clarity.
