Im not clear on some thing.... Like i noticed when u have the heatsink that comes with the blade holders shown herehttp://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Screw-on-LED-blade-holder-style-11-P293.aspx that it is sautered (Excuse my spelling) that it is connected to the heatsink not the LED (Luxeon 3) or is it... If not and it is connected to the Heatsink, how it the energy flowing to the led from the battery is it connecting through the metal on the bottom of the lux star 3... Please help and post Picture:D:D:D

It's "soldered", but I actuall prefer "sautered" because it looks more like sautee'. :) Mmmmm... sautee' the buttered toast.

"saultered":confused:
Are you asking how the positive and negative wires are attached to the LED?
The wires go threw the holes in the heat sink then you solder them to the pads on the LED.

The heatsink comes with two nylon screws. It has four holes on it. Two of them are threaded these are where the nylon screws will secure the LED to the heatsink. at this point the two holes that are not threaded will line up with 1 + and 1 - soldering pad on the LED's star circuit board. You will attach the respective wires through each hole to its soldering pad. It will make more sense when you have the parts in front of you. It's kinda hard to tell in the Pictures.

the saber tutorial is a great place to start. It explains 90% of saber building.

Don't forget to always use a resistor! There is an exception but that is a little more advanced.

I don't like the way the title of this thread says, "I want pictures...", instead of "I would like pictures...". It's like he's demanding, instead of asking. :-|

meh, it's part of being a noob... lots of panic-attacks. Kind of liike when they say: "I need to get this & that..." or "I'm a noob - PLEASE HELP!"... They think they need to include that kind of stuff to grab attention... which, in a sense, does work - it's just the wrong attention...
