ok I am looking for pics of short blade sabers. I have seen them on kotor and am wondering if anybody has made some? If so please post

Well sorry I posted a lot. I just happy to be on site with ppl who love star wars like me, cause I was sick of being made fun of for liking star wars. If my "post whoreing" is annoying ppl sry.

But short to mr is half size of normal blade.

LOL! :D It doesn't annoy me, and there's really no reason to take offense... It's just a label, based on observations - and something we can give you heat about and keep as a running joke... "lordbane21 - pee-double-you"

I think it was darth kalel, he racked up 300-something posts in less than a month... but then again, he never used edit, just re-posted...

EDIT: I have a 12" blade that I can throw into a hilt... but it's just a short blade :P

Eastern,

If I'm not mistaken, that blade is shorter than the hilt by about 1/3. LoL.

But at that length the blade is very bright and evenly lit.

Eastern, is that an MHS hilt #1 behind a ribbed center section? How long is that sucker? (On second thought, I'm not sure I like how that came out!) :oops:

i have no prob with hijack. but i than u for asking me.

And i love the blade. although i would like one a bit longer. mabey 14 inches. that will be my next project when i finally get first saber done lol.

oh and i finally came up with my final design. and will never change again.

not really short, this is my daughter's. it's got a 24" blade on it.

I plan on making a short one for myself at a later date. I want a 28" blade for my right hand and a 19" blade for my left hand. (Those are the lengths of my katana and wakizashi)

Perhaps LordBane21 is refering to the Shoto saber. A short one handed hilt that Luke uses to get the upperhand on Lumiya's lightwhip. I'm building two right now.

Hilt measures 9 1/2 inches, and I chose a 23 inch blade

ya think lol ya knwo what I think me gonna gets me a short blade for my saber so i can carry it around in me bag so me can hit people with me saber that piss me off during class aka students that sleep during a class they signed up for and are paying money to take. The powers of a TA is not so great but at least i'll have some fun!

I like silent Jedi and chowser ur pics are a good help. I like the 19 in blade and the 10 in hilt that u two showed. It puts it into perspective. Thank u. if any one has more or other pics please show me.

The PVC double I just gave my nephew was made with short blades. He's 11 years old, so I didn't want to make it too long for him to handle. The visible part of each blade is only 21".

At that length, even with a Lux I, it's really quite bright.

Dude! I'm not usually the grammar Nazi around here, and I don't like to derail a thread, but come on! Nobody expects perfection, but at least try to form a coherent sentence. I'm sorry, but that was awful. Am I to assume that "TA" means Teacher's Assistant? Wow.:shock:

WOW i love the 21 in blade. i may get for my first saber. I love it. It looks pretty evenly lit.
