Hey everybody.
i'm a n00b and i have a couple of questions

1 - do the read/onange LED's make the light saber look more red or more orange? if the answer is orange, when will the stock get more red?

2 - What is the shortest 4AA battery holder that will fit inside a 1.5 inch sink tube?

3 - is it worth it to get the Luxeon 3w driver V?

my goal is to make a curved saber hilt so space is key.i don't want to have the bottom part before the curve super long so the battery pack can't be too big

the led color will determine the blade color. a red/orange is more on the orange side while red is a red.

[QUOTE=TannerFrey;104413]Hey everybody.
i'm a n00b and i have a couple of questions

1 - do the read/onange LED's make the light saber look more red or more orange? if the answer is orange, when will the stock get more red? If you want red then buy a RED
2 - What is the shortest 4AA battery holder that will fit inside a 1.5 inch sink tube? use a 4AAA pack instead
3 - is it worth it to get the Luxeon 3w driver V? use a buckpuck (which is shorter if space is an issue)

I used a puck-sized driver on this saber---> There are electronics pix in the thread--->http://forums.thecustomsabershop.com/showthread.php?t=6118

I didn't notice before but The "Black Chelonian" LED driver is capable of PWM dimming. Must be modifiable for ramping effect.
