What is the purpose of the Acrylic crystal and where do u insert it? if at all?

It's just a fun accessory, you don't actually put in the saber....unless you really want to, anyway....

It's for decoration purposes. Do a search on "crystal chamber" for some examples on the board. The crystal can be placed anywhere you want in a sabre.
