Well first off, I want to warn everyone to NOT cut the leads to the Battery holder realy short to try and make a clean wiring job. Now I have to completely disassemble my saber to change the batteries!
I was able to get the Hasbro speaker into the end of the Style I hilt by sanding off the outer portion of the speaker. But it doesn’t go any farther than the end of the treads, so I’m going to put some O-rings on it to fill in the gap.
I did blow the fuse on the Sound Board, but I bypassed it.
I did not run the LED off of the S.B. though… And no clash (It was a horrid clash anyways! It sounded more like Maracas!) I wasn’t sure if I needed the second circuit board to run the LED, or if it was going to fit, and I ripped the wires off of it anyways disassembling it. So I have the LED and the S.B. running in parallel with the switch. I just have to bump the switch to get it to shut off. Or turn back on after it shuts off automatically.
