Yo, I've been at it again. I resurrected a rusted blade-not-working Luke ESB. I didn't take tutorial pix, but anyone that needs to convert one of these just post or pm and I can walk you through it. There are no scratches/dings and all original cosmetic pieces were retained, including the stock switch and its assembly. The blade holder is a custom aluminum job with my polyC and aluminum Led module attached. Finally, I polished it up and it looks brand new! This sucker can handle a mild beating now! Enjoy!

I will link to the references I used at the end of this post!

It looks like you did exactly what I did! A 1 1/8" tube? I slipped that in... a little sanding and it all worked out. Solid too.

Great work! Here's a question..Why did you opt for the Royal Blue over the Blue LED..Better color match? Brighter? Just thought I'd pic your brain as I am looking to convert a Parks Obi TPM and an Anakin AOTC and I wasn't sure which LED would look better.

Like I mentioned above he (and me) used a 1 1/8" OD 1" ID aluminum tube. Sand away some goodies inside it and you slide it in. I used some glue and with the blade holding screw it is pretty solid.
