Question for a new guy

Before my interest in building my first saber peaked I purchased a Luxeon V saber from Ultrsabers. Instead of buying new electronics I though maybe just transfer the ultrasabers internals into the saber I am building.. But looking at the pictures I cannot tell if it would work.. Think it might?

It depends on what you actually got. A lot of Ultra's new saber use the recessed switch which would require you desoldering it.

It is the vagabond a PVC Aluminum hybrid saber. The switch is essetially a screwed button into the PVC Handle.

Okay, that makes it easier. The pics on the website show it with the older switch. That makes it more possible to do without soldering. It depends on the way it's constructed, which I'm not familiar with.

Also, unless you did some kind of special order it uses a III and not a V.

Ah must have been their more expensive sabers I was looking at which has a V..

Since taking the bottom cap off it looks simple, just cut the pvc up under the actual LED Emitter then removing it.
