Almost Complete saber

hey all so here are 2 pics of my saber WIP should be fully done by mon/tues.


here's first go before everything, but after powder.

and here's after getting the new pommel i <3 and some o-rings blade etc. just gotta throw all the guts in. and i'm debating on adding some shrouds over the emitter but so far i havent been happy with any designs ive drawn.
but here ya go the revision or addition lol however you want to look at it

That pommel looks way cooler with that emitter. I have the original pommel you had on but I'm not a fan of it being paired with the tapered emitters, I don't know why. I really like the powder coating on that design too.

Thanks Phiily, i appreciate it. yeah i agree that first pommel i just kept looking at it and looking at it and saying to myself my god... my saber looks like a muffler... or a missile... so it had to be changed. i have always loved the "knobbed" pommel style since i first saw them. and as soon as they hit the store i said to myself i'm ordering 2! so i did :D and now i think the saber looks more "saber-like" and less mufflery.

Simple and elegant. I like the blue rings on the handle. They add that little shock of color to really make it eye catching. I look forward to seeing it all lit up later.

Yeah that knobbed pommel is just so classic. It's one of those things that you think about when building a saber, like "it's a lightsaber so it 'should' have this". Sorta like, for me, the curved emitter of a graflex and the rubber grips. Classic.
