Well, I guess you can say I'm "retired". I sold my mill and lathe and have moved on. I may get back into it once i get a house with a garage, but for now in an apartment and being active duty military and the way the economy is (no one locally wants to pay for a custom). Thanx for the fun times way back in the day when the "old" guys were still actively derailing threads, ill still be on the boards.

Ambo

Edit: Oh and i took down my website, not because i had to.

Sorry to hear that Ambo... :(

That is too bad--looks like Jon isn't the only one who's had to take at least a BREAK from it.

I have to say... in some ways I'm glad BOP III didn't end up happening this year--it might have been too much stress for me to take and too much of a rush...

Sometimes time & distance from something allows a fresh outlook... but that's the real thing--time & distance!

Good luck, hope we still see you around, and stay safe during your military excursions.

That's too bad Ambo, you worked wonders with that lathe. Your katana and Obi Wan come to mind. Stay safe in the Navy. See you on the boards

And like I said in that other thread, there's no soliciting allowed on this forum, which is what you're doing by asking to pay for services in the open forum.

Looking at his Profile, Ambo has plenty of other ways you can contact him. So please take your request off the boards, thanks.

Also, please don't bring up old threads like this.
