This has been brought up before and ignored; so I made a new thread. I recently got the Mace Windu FX Lightsaber for my birthday (the newest model), and I am trying to take it down so that I can temporarily remove the blade.

I got as far as having the black plastic sleeve that surrounds the batteries out, and I have the gold ring and black rubber O-ring off of the top of the handle.

I took out all of the long rubber grips to get a better view, but I can't seem to figure out what to do next. I have read about other people successfully taking down Mace sabers and would like some guidance.

I will try to post some pictures of the current state of my saber later tonight. Any help in the mean time is would be greatly appreciated.

Umm... not ignored at all. The search function is your friend, use it.[:p]

I hope you didn't mess it up because the long grips don't need to come off, the textured stuff does.

Thanks Xwingband. I thought that all the MR modding information was under the 05MR to Lux section of the boards. I promise to use the search feature in the future!

Oh, and thanks for the link

Sometimes things get brought up elsewhere... that's why I'm working on indexing the forums. It should help. You expect it to come up here, but sometimes people don't scroll far enough and just plop it in an LED forum.[:I]
