hey all, i am wondering about power options here, im going to be ordering the Lux5 kit but i want to switch to a rechargeable b-pack. im using a MHS hilt style 2. now my question is this. would this be too much for the lux5 or would this work just fine?

wiring it with a 2ohm resistor or the 3.3ohm that the kit comes with. i'm also assuming that that pack will be kind of a snug fit into the hilt if i'm not mistaken.

That will be fine. You need a 1 ohm 2 watt resistor
