Just wondering where people are getting their industrial shrink tube and what size/thickness would be best for wrapping electronic boards or hilts and whatnot.

bah, just use electrical tape. Buying a 4' tube (the standard length) is silly if you only wrap a few boards.

Not every board likes it either. Erv had to repair a CF because it was wrapped and the excess heat it made driving the LED was trapped and unsoldered stuff.

I saw someone use it for a grip though and I really like the way it turned out. :P

ah... didn't notice the part about hilts. I've used it for grip material. I ordered from mcmaster.com I got some fabric grip, but they had the normal types too.

Thanks. I'm still drawing up designs so I have no idea what I'm going to go with in the end now. >_<

FYI the 2" shrink tube will shrink down tight over a 1-1/4 inch sinktube with a few orings over it just perfect. Fits fine over TCSS parts too.
