LED III kit

I'm buying an LED III kit (or K2, depends which mood I'm in), and I wondered, say that the pre-attached wires to the components were too short, how would I extend them? Would I solder any old bit of wire lying around to it?

Yes, and I would wrap the joint in heatshrink after you are done soldering.

And I wouldn't just use any old wire you got laying around. Tim sells some nice thin guage wire in the store. You are gonna want STRANDED wire between 24-28 guage for best results.
