Hi all!
I've read through the tutorial (http://forums.thecustomsabershop.com/showthread.php?t=12) on building the EL blades, simple enough.
One question though, that I didn't come across in my forum searches, is where does the diffuser material come in? Do I wrap the innermost poly blade in it?

This is what is sold as a diffuser for the EL blades:

Your EL wire then goes inside the polethylene.
That slides into this:

Ok, so somehow I ended up purchasing the diffuser for the LED blade. DOH.
Does the same material create any kind of coring effect for an EL?

I'd have to say no....but try it and find out! I'm going to guess that unless you have several wraps worth of the Corbin film, you'll be able to see the EL wire through it.

I have a few extra EL diffusers lying around and I could use an extra LED diffuser. If you feel like trading, PM me. My EL diffusers are cut to 34.5".
