Well folks I have the start of my mando, I got my flight suit and I got my fiberglass armor from an ebay feller who was mighty quick.

Now with lots of words.

Now I was unabel to find a flight suit in the gray dark gray area so IAm going with the black one my bro got that dosent fit him, it was ok on him but not enoght croch room.

Iam gonna go with a clone commander type paln setup so there will be some yellow paint in a stripe pattern. Iam gonna loosely base it off of commander bly, the commander that gunned down secura.

I was gonna go with cody but I figured he was too well known and liked so I picked someone who was sorta in the left back of the field.

Main blaster is still to be determined.

Now sidearm will be a custom version of blades mac11

The rifle will house a blaster core and not sure what to do about sound for the sidearm, prolly nothing.

As for the CQC weapon I dont know yet, still thinking if I want to use the axe idea or not.

Now the shin/caff/knee armor will be from spatcave again like the resin kit and one knee will be removed in case I got to kneel down Iam not gonna worry about breaking it. ITs in there faq to not kneel on the knee armor.

Backpack will house a camelback that a friend in the military go for me a few years ago and around it will be a maneuverability pack, Not a jump or a jet pack but if I get into combat that needs quicker maneuvers the pack will fill that roll.

Now the rangefinder will be more or less replaces for a coms antanna type thing that can jam, intercept and pritty much anything with communications it will have a part in and I can relay info back to my ship and or to a "pda" on a gauntlet, and the other gauntlet will house the traditional flamethrower.

Now on to the couple bits that I have now, next will I will be getting prolly eather a bucket or the cod and butt armor. Now sure yet. But I will prolly buy the rest of the fiberglass armor from the same guy I got my chest armor from.

Sweet Dude!!! Now that i'm in my new place i'm hoping to set up my Beskar'gam.

Was thinking of buying two kits from Schuby, one adult, one kids & stack them on top of each other, so the adult set looks like a border.

That's where I got it from, I just did some mspaint editing, but I have heard that shubywan isent a person to talk to.

I got my armor from 502smallblock, its nice black or white gelcoat resin fiberglass and I payed 70$ but for cheaper you can talk to jax and get metal armor painted and weathered for a bit more of the cost I payed for just my shoulders/chest armor.

As for your idea of the stacked armor plates, I had an idea and it involved some sintra and my FG armor. When I lose this 65lb keg and if the plates don't sit right Iam gonna do what you are thinking of to make them enlarged a little bit then take some bondo or some kinda filler and bevel off the edges.

Iam thinking about cheating and getting some of them weight loss helper pills to go with my fat burning tread mill.

I dont care if I weigh 200 lbs as long as my gut is flatter so my lower armor piece sits right!

Yeah but remember you could always build up your bulk with some thicker plates or make yourself more of a go behind the enemy lines and wreak havoc with a time bomb or something along them lines. A more maneuverable mando instead of the front line type mando.

I just cant wait till I can atleast finish one project I got on my table.

Well I got some more parts and I have to pay back my bro, He bought them thinking they would fit and they dont. I told him not to seing as the guy said he was a XL type person and my bro is a bit bigger than me. So iam on a payment plan untill he says I dont have to pay him back!
I got some gaunt and a back plate that I may have to extend.
They were from a somewhat shorter guy and the bottem of the back plate comes to the middel of my back!
The gaunts one is a rufkin and the other I think is a vacuformed piece but Iam going to do a little bit of reworking.
When we got them a small section of the back plate was cracked so Im letting the glue dry for a few days before I can even think about doing anything with it.
An then Im not even sure the glue is going to work or not But IAm going to get some sintra and extend the back plate a bit and around the inside edges of my chest armor a tad.
I got word that I can reshape FG but I got to be carefull or the gel coat will come off! So the collar armor are going to get the same shape as the back plate and I may have to extend that a bit or I may make something to join the back plate and collar piece with a bolt system.
I will get some pics up later prolly tonight or tomorrow, Iam kinda tired, dont get much sleep these days.

Yeah iam going to rework that into the design of the gaunt but Iam going to put the voice core in there and it will house the switch assembly and battery and I will have some leds to tell it that power is on or a mode is on, speaker is on and many things like that.

You cant relaly tell but there is a black thing there, well thats actually a very tiny screen, possably from an old cellphone that I want to work it into the box for say a hologram desplay type thing.

Sorry if I misread... I was skimming the thread... Did you say that your armor is too small? By the looks of the chest armor, it seems to be about right. Might wanna move the plates up a bit. Don't forget that the girth belt, and ammo belts sort of go across your belly. Also, I wouldn't worry about extending the back plate, mid-back is where its supposed to be. Well, mid/lower.

Looks cool though, and it looks like you're having a blast with it. Good stuff.

Yeah I want to extend it just a bit and I know the plates need to be aligned right but I will see once i can get everything buttoned up.

But yeah I love it. Best money Ive spent, and to think I almost decided to do a jedi costume instead of this. This is just to much fun and I wouldent have much fun with all the cloth.

But I will do a jedi costume at some point but Iam not making it, iam going to buy some parts here and there and alter them a bit to make it my own design.

I do plan on doing a Nihilus someday, so I can use my TCSS saber. He's taken a back seat to Boba, Gree, and Freddy for now though.

Well peoples iam debating on abandoning my project, no money means no progress, no progress means I could be using the money elsewhere so Iam thinking about selling my stuff so I can get me a more reliable car like a honda or something.
