I just ordered the LED starter kit and was wondering what kind of stuff fits over the hilt so I know ahead of time what I can use to customize it. Stuff like sink tube, PVC, certain grips, ect.

Well, the sink tube fits over the hilt portion of the MHS, and if you ask, Tim can machine the emitter down so it fits in the sink tube as well.

The emmitter isn't the same size as the hilt?

What's the best way to contact Tim about the mod.? I ordered it a couple hrs ago. I don't know when he makes the orders.

You can e-mail Tim right from the store front. One thing I would suggest is that you draw out your idea on paper and think through how you want your hilt to look. I can't draw worth a hoot but I rough draft on paper then switch to the computer, using paint, paintshop pro, adobe whichever your flavor. I know you are crunching for time so you can just dual with the MHS hilt and then fix it up as you go.

If you already have your sparring partner you can also practice your dualing with a couple of PVC sabers and it won't cost you but a few bucks.

I have 3 Katanas (one is the Highlander TV Dragon sword) and I have a Blade movie sword. I could use those. lol http://www.gaownersclub.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_fencing.gif[:D]

I also carved out a practice sword from some left over blaist from my deck.

With out getting too off track, I also want to get all the Lord of the Ring movie swords.

Those are some sweet swords, i have always contemplated buying some swords, but with younglings in the house, sabers are much safer

Yeah, I'm going to have to come up with something once we start poping out kids, but I have a few years for that yet.

Reality often interferes with what would otherwise be an idyllic delusion.

I should clarify that it is safer to get wacked in the head with poly-c than metal, but what are a few bumps and bruises... Nothing i havent enjoyed in the last few years of TaeKwonDo training that is for sure
