which is best for combat

ok new to the lightsabre end of this but have fought live steel for 10+ years and wanted to ask which blade format is most durable to impact. it already seems that full strength blows will be out of the question, but in the case of the EL blades,is the set screw enough
to keep the blade firmly in place,or should i use more than one,love the site and the prices!best out there,thx for your time!

depending on if you use the thicker wall el blades strydur here sells, and your not tryin to kill someone with a full freakin force blow, lol then 1 thumbscrew should be enough. i have 1 sabers with a 10/32 thumbscrew, it is made to look like a red button. used it on my esb luke saber. i have another graflex anh luke el saber but it has a larger thumbscrew i bought off lightechindustries and i bought another from him to fit the darth vader/qui-gonn saber. cant remember exactly what sixe it is but definately bigger than 10/32.
