Been considering how to make one of these:

Thought about a NERF conversion, but apparently the NERF disc launcher is quite poop!

Any thoughts people?

This one is a tough one. I would personally try to replicate it using either styrene or a rigid yet flexible vinyl that you can find at shops that deal in plastics etc. I know it's not the best answer but that one throws me as what to possibly use to replicate it.

Im okay for ideas on the build itself, its just the mechanical firing mechanism Im stuck with?

Theres a Spiderman disk launcher that looks like that you squeeze the handel n the disks shoot out

Ok, getting nowhere fast, every toy disc launcher I look at is pathetically weak!

Get one on the cheap, then disassemble to see how it ticks, then replicate the mechanism with tougher materials and BEEF IT UP! That's what I would do if I was crazy enough to take on this project

The Spiderman launcher fired the disks well far keep the mech stuff and then build a new cover so it look how you want

I say go to www.instructables.com and search.. you'll find TONS of different shooting projects.. from airsoft mods to other stuff.. mostlye the office supply/paperclip shooters I would think..

POWERFUL and cheap.. the casing and bracer part is up to you..

how about these are your 'BASE' firing mechanism.. (Im sure you could mod it somehow.. and mount to your 'sleeve/gaunblet'

The Ironman repulser gauntlet is the same thing as the Spiderman one its exactly the same another cheap use of a marvel toy
