I still need to make the mag cylinders/wires, but this is a resin kit made to look like a relic sterling...the rust is real, from a kit made by triangle crafts. I primed it in red, painted with a flat black and used a rough sponge to rub the worn metal edges on. after that I hit it with a coat of transparent/ brown tinted poly to give it the old oiled up WWII look.

the scope was painted in copper first, then I used the mustard method to create paint chips, then the ripped sponge to make scratches/wear....the front lens is from a cheap disposable camera (you can see it in the above pics)
