No.. My build probably isnt going to be better than Rob's... we are both going to work hard to make it right... But Fixer is so much cooler than Sev... :)

here is where I am so far... I wont show you the same pictures Rob just did.. we have the exact same kit, delivered on the same day, and we live in the same state...

but here ya go

OK so new update...
I've dont next to no work... but been at it for a long time...
Untoched helmet... Thanks, PA!

Cut visor out and filed it down to shape it.

left cheek vent...
drilled holes, then filed out with needle file... the three slits show three levels of progress on the vents...

slow and steady... making sure its the best it can be...

Ouch, but it is all good I will like being the psychopath of the group. Besides I would have never left my brothers on the field.

Mind if I ask where you guys bought the RC stuff from? Also, have you seen any nice DC-17 replicas around to go with them?

Thanks :)

well according to the novels... that never happened...
the novels are WELL past where the scope of the game happened... and you are still around, Psycho...
talk about continuity issues...

Have not read the novels yet but I was under the assumption that they happened in between game missions.

I'll double check my time line...
but I'm pretty sure Karen has past the time line of the original game...

whatcha think?

still need to paint the lines a light grey, and weather the helmet properly...
so far I've started playing with scuffing up the helmet, as you can see over the right "eye" section.

Dude, that looks ridiculously awesome...

It looks like you could fit a small LED - 5mm, 8mm - on the other side of your com pod... like the cover of Hard Contact. They make some ridiculously bright high-brightness LEDs... to go on your ridiculously awesome kit..

Sohryu76

just need to finish the paint

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c274/Josnewguy/DSCN0281.jpg

there you go... easy to see everything now...

and i was thinking about it... I might not actually paint in the detail lines, but just rather let the weathering settle into them to make them stand out...
what do you guys think?

That seems the best option for me. That would add a nice touch of realism to the bucket, IMHO...

yeah the weathering is going to be nice, and fill in the lines...

I just dont know if i should paint them first...
i dont think they are "painted" in the game... but i dunno :)
thanks!

its still a work in progres... it hasnt been abandoned... the build is going pretty much like Tazrob's as we are building them together...
but here is an addition that my kit has that his will not:

this is a wrk in progress, and NOT FINAL YET...
as you can see I'm missing the 40 in the number spot...
