This is a saber that I finished today for a custom order. It has a brass overlay tube
that has been aged and the main aluminum boby of the saber is aged also. It has
a corbin led driver and a MR sound board. The led is a white luxeon III with a filter.

Sweet saber Don. Great work with the switch on the pommel. It took me a while to realize that it was the switch because you weathered it so well.

Question: Is the clear blade you took the "off" pictures with the same as was used in the "on" picture?

I think you have surpassed a new threshold, Do-Clo! That would literally pass for an [expensive] antique.

Great work with the switch on the pommel...

Isn't that the switch in the middle? The slider?

Dought...But that is the pushbutton switch cover. At least it looks a lot like it... LOL

Very nice Do-Clo, I love the weathering technique. The overlay is the perfect shade too.

For the brass did you use something other than good old fashioned handling to age it? I know brass will weather/age pretty fast from regular use.

I used a chemical to turn the brass black.
