charge port ground question..

ok, it's a dumb question but I need to know, the body ground portion of the charge port (the threaded part attatched to the hilt), is it active while using the saber or while charging? I just want to make sure that if I screw something up and have a loose/ poorly made connection complete a circuit and trip my pcb I will have a better way to find the issue. I havn't had any issues yet, but this would be usefull to know as far as trouble shooting. thanks for any input guys^^

following the thread to find out too..

but from I gather (thought).. it is ACTIVE while the saber is on...

putting a 'plug' into it kills it.. (regardless of if saber is on or off)..

I believe this is a saftey feature to NOT fry any boards while the saber is off and your charging your pack.. :)
