SICK!..

seriously... that top half is NICE.. like an elongated Quinlan Voss emitter..

very nice work there.. :) he'll be proud.

the CAD render makes it look great.

is the knob for the blade?..or a on/off button? would be nice if it was a push button that dipped in a little on pressing.

Just one more thing and its done! When I get it, I'll throw some flat black paint on it, put a luxV green with everything rechargeable, and I'll get some new pics up with it all fired up.

what kind of paint do you guys use to paint a saber?

chase
05-23-2008, 05:19 AM
I've used what you could call high quality spray paint, it looks good, but not nearly as clean and nice as powder coat.

very nice work...... great completion.

my only 'gripe' (which is just a personal preference/flair) would be to have a pommel that balanced out the saber design more.. a little more bulbous/wider/long

cant wait to see it lighted up..

what color is going in it?

Looks great Chase, I think the flat paint makes all the difference, cant wait to see it lit. :)

I finally got it lit up. Took forever because I was waiting for parts to be in stock, they didn't, so I changed to a green luxIII. Once the 7.2 1000mAh battery pack comes in, it will go in there with a 1000mAh puck.
