Disassembling Mace FX

Okay, I don't want to convert my Mace, I simply want to remove the blade so I can have the hilt. I saw the Anakin/Vader tutorial on conversion, but I need instructions on taking the blade out of the Mace without damaging the hilt in any way. I am getting an extra Mace just for this little project. Can anyone help?

basically you have to pop the switch off and screw off the covertec. The next part is sneaky. The next screw to get at is under the textured grip. Peel an inch of it to get to. That should be it and everything will slide out.
