View Full Version : My Play Area.. (misc parts)
I havent taken any pics of my 'shop' (ie: garage where I have my tools..bandsaw, drill press, welder, grinders/sanders...etc) but just broke out the camera to take some pics of my MISC parts I have been collecting and working on..
(and to get ready to document my steps on my build) ;) which is mostly done..waiting on few minor pieces)

I can't wait till I'm done unpacking from my recent move so I can set up the saber workshop again!

Thanks guys.
yeah sometimes.. I just sit in front of the table..and 'think' abotu what I can do next.. what part I can tweak, make, create, alter, (wreck) LOL
I had some brass sabers almost compeleted (waiting for LEDs which just came) but it seems Brass is all the 'rage' now.. :) so nothing new there..
hopefully the 'maverick' hilt/saber will be posted soon enough...

holee carp, thats way cleaner than my area hahahah!
is it always that organized or did you do some cleanup because you were taking pics?
DDD!
that would be answer "B" Bob.. :)
Im usually in the garage full of dirt & oil.. sanding/grinding/cuting to make sleeves/covers..
I think (IMHO) sleeves/covers do ALOT for any build.. since tere are only so many MHS hilts/sections one an get...
my ONLy gripe is that I only have 1 LED Drvier (plecter Dimmer/Drvier...not a CF)..
I do however have a few hasbro boards that I 'suppose' could drive the LED as well. (except for that ugly FoC habsro has)..
outside of that.. a GOOD LED drvier is just hard to get.. which is a motivational killer..LOL

ain't got nothin' on me:

That is, in fact, the table I built my sabers on. The few tools I have are stuffed away in some crevice of my office, and all my saber parts are on my sabers.

well, Mr.X, you've been a busy bee... I've said it before and I'll say it again: "I love the chaos that is a sabersmith bench"... someone should start a thread of pictures of your sabersmith benches, work areas, sanctuaries whatever - the dirtier the better...
yes... everything I see is internally analyzed to see if can be used or made into a saber part..LOL
Im waiting to get some time to finally fire up one of those P4's :)

I love the green P4 that I have... it might not be the most popular P4, but "powered like a 3w and better output than a K2" sorta speaks for itself.

Here's what my bench looks like most of the time...

Minus the M4-- that's usually in the safe. :)
