but of course!!! how could we not all love a mel brooks star wars lol, I use to watch that all the time when I was younger, haven't seen it in awhile. I love the Jewish Jedi lol.

Blue harvest was great, I wanna see em do ESB and ROTJ too. Stewie Vader is too awesome. My 6 yr old daughter is gonna be mini Vader this year should be siiiiiiick! Can't wait to see what her little voice sounds like through the voice changer I have.

While I love spaceballs my favy spinoff by far has got to be the shin chan parody of the first/second starwars trilogy.

For me the best parody/homage by far was Blue Harvest. Even the name was an in joke that Star wars fans could get. You could tell that the Family Guy team really loves the films, can't wait for the others. I have all the Family Guy Dvd's, I love em. Your right Drichar, the Character who plays Obi Wan (Norbert) is weird, but it's like Davis Brent in the office, it's so awfull it's cringemakingly funny. The series is littered with jokes from the films. "like that time the Emporer figured out the formula for great Star Wars dialogue. Something Something something, dark side......"

what's the shin chan thing, I've never heard about it. I tried searching for it but with no luck. If anybody has a link I would love to see it. and I heard that they will have the rest of the family guy star wars out by feb 2009

Fair enough. I had to grab the boxset when it came out. T-shirt will stay sealed, but I watched the whole thing wearing the 3-d glasses!

too bad your not in the US I do DVDs for 3.50 dollars each and have all the releases a week after they are in the theaters, some I get many weeks before they come out. I watched 88 mins about 3 weeks ago way before it came out on DVD, it always pays to have a friend that works for the academy awards program lol

As Chris (Seth Green) stated, Robot Chicken (created by Seth Green) did a Star Wars episode months before Family Guy. Robot Chicken's has been my favorite so far.

Yes the RC SW, I have it on my dvr but am gonna delete it soon. It was good but not as good as shin chan.
