I have an idea..

I bought one of the MR FFX Contruction Kit sabers a few weeks ago for $50 at Radio Shack to use for a sound board incase i didnt get the CF4.0. Right away I liked the Button Setup it had.

Today i was just messing around and i took the button section apart...

So after i looked at it i thought "hey, the button i bought at radioshack might fit in there" so i decided to see it it fits....

I think it looks pretty cool. maybe drill some screw holes on a MHS section and attach it, would make a nice button guard. or have a piece of aluminum made that kinda does the same thing. what are you guy's thoughts on this???

I might be interested in having a section made out of aluminum like that, I have that same switch from radio shack and I've been trying to figure out how to use it.

yea im not a machinist but i cant see it being too hard to make one of those or something similar. and if thats the case you can just havea custom hole made to fit any button.

wow, this gave me a neat idea to incorporate a tactile switch with the next saber i make... which probably wont be for a while lol.
