Has anyone had any dealings with this company?
Looking for a decent Sith robe.

Looks like the same robes you can get on ebay.

Hoods to small sizing isent right at all anywhere on the robe. I would rather spend the cash on something from costume base if I was gonna get a cheap robe.

Actually, those look just like costume-base's pictures from their ebay auctions. This place is probably just a re-seller, or front for costume-base in Great Britain.

Thumbs up or thumbs down?

So hard to find a decent set of sith robes!

Hasid Lafre

I would get one from twin roses, a robe isent really somthing to cheap out on but if I just wanted one to have one to mess around in I would grab one form costume base to get used to dueling in a larger one.

It seems that every item description on that site is a direct rip from the US eBay seller's listing. For a start on the Anakin Sith costume (the one I was interested in) page they still refer to the trousers as 'pants'. As a reseller they might be OK, but the sloppyness of the site leaves a lot to be desired.

ARGH! What to do?
Im blowing £200.00 on my first MHS for UKJ-O8, like to have some robes for the event too, but might just have to wait and save up a bit by the sounds of it.

Iam sure you could get someone on a costuming site to make you one for a decent price.

The best thing about those guys (For us brits :D) they are based in London, so it would be cheaper then importing the stuff and you could probably pick it up Drichar

Keep the spurs! Just imagine walking thru some saloon doors, spurs clanking, with one eye ****ed, the music stops, you ignite your saber and say something like "this town isn's big enough for the two of us, Jedi" to the guy sitting down. From then on the whole place breaks out in a fight. That would be a good spoof film.

yeah I cant decide if to come in costume or not. My Dark Jedi Cloak/Robe should be here very soon. Then its just a black gui (sp) needed and a belt. Well thats for costume anyway.
Im waiting for my saber parts to be deleivered, but there is some custom work, so may be waiting a little while. Hopefully it'll be ready for the meet as long as I dont have any problems with the sound board and wiring lol.

I have a buddy who has the sith robes from here and they look great. He is a 6'6" big built man and it still looks good, I personally hate the huge hoods but that's just MO. they are very confortable and breathe well. just don't get the anakin one the leather look a like really isn't that good. oh and the stormtrooper ones are awesome. My costume is nowhere near canon as is it a superman SW style, navy robes and armor with dark red boots and belt and gold emblem on chest with moulded wrap around. I will have some pics when it's all done.

I cant afford to do sound at the moment, maybe further down the line. Just gonna be happy to have my saber staff ;).

I hear you I missed the CF again so it's another wait, till I get some more money.
I will be at the next convention here with just a lighted saber no sound, but will be in full costume.

Old Jedi Calvalry Adage-

don't squat with your spurs on......

Just a thought......find a old, lady dressmaker in your town. Buy a pattern or get an idea from one of the costuming organizations. Buy a bolt of cloth and get dressmaker(seamstress) to do it up for you. You'll have better quality, with about the same cash.....

I made mine and I'll be glad to relate the ins and outs.(Stop snickering---I am NOT an Old lady Dressmaker:))

THis does look like costume base stuff mostly, though I kinda like their robes. i'm biased with the boots after the KOTE guy I was chatting too had his split whilst showing them to me, but the robes are good for the price.

Actually here's a question for the costuming fraternity... On the Jedi-Robes site, what style of shirt is used for the black Anakin costume? I just want to know what the style is called with the high upright collar. I've tried eBaying for just about every possible name I can think of but so far all I've found are UnderArmour skintight shirts... Trust me, that's not an option .

I think the style of collar you're looking for is called a mock turtle neck....but I could be wrong....just guessing here...

Jhadious Aran
08-10-2008, 05:03 PM
mock would be more of a full around the neck just lower than a normal turtle neck, a Mandarin style collar is low around the neck and not quite so mock ish give andarin style a shot see if that helps
