Newbie question

I've got a
Anakin Skywalker Interactive Jedi Training Lightsaber
sitting around at the house. Can I use the soundmaking gizmos out of it for anything good?

I have never opened one of those up but I suspect you could use it in the same way as a Hasbro board (poke around the boards for dozens of ways to do that). The things to watch for will be all the other hardware. That toy has IR senders and receivers right? It's possible that if all that is removed the board might error out, you may need to keep all that intact... or maybe not.

If nobody else has any good advice all I can offer is: Take it slow and try to figure out what all the parts do and see how the board behaves with them removed one at a time. Once you have it as stripped down as you can get it and still working treat it as any other Hasbro toy board.
