It always starts off with a clear end point... but that end point never gets reached, really...

These are a few versions of my mhs saber. Right now I have a custom blade holder #8 (tks, tim) and cf v2.63 driving a lux3 r/o.

How was that emitter made? I REALLY like the look. Is it a style #2 with extensive modification?

That's a style #3 with a claw mount. On the first one, it's just one style 2 claw, a silver machined covertech knob and an 8/32 thumb screw. On the second, I took off the claw, moved the covertech to where the claw was and added a 6/32 thumb screw that I got off the joe jedi vader emitter.

On the custom one, Tim just grinded down the edges of a style 8.

thanks guys. I actually got the idea from the barriss offee lightsaber from the clone wars cartoons. I liked the simplicity.

When I got the choke point I really liked how that looked (and felt) without another blade holder on top of it. It took me a little while to work up the courage to get one made... I used the renders, but still was on the cusp of "love it" vs. "just like it"... in person, and having felt it - Definite "Love it"

I'm still surprised with my own lack of satisfaction... I've had the basic parts and LED for this saber for quite some time, and I still get urges to change it up every so often - I guess that's the beauty of the Multiple Hilt System :)

It's extremely comfortable, I've got the electronics stramlined perfectly, not to mention tightened up on the aesthetics... but I'm sure in a month or two, maybe when v4 comes out, I'll have another idea that just makes this version look like brown stuff.

guess we'll see, eh?
