anyone know what Bin # for red gives the closest pinkish/purple-ish tint? similiar to the one on the last post of the Red LED color pics thread...
thanks in advance!

What you're seeing in that post is a result of photography, not the color of the LED itself. The red LED ranges in tone from deep red to a reddish orange.

Purple (violet) is on the opposite side of the visible light spectrum...so no purple in a red LED.

stupid photography...
alright...
so back to square one...
wonder if the disks we have will help give the slight tint im looking for...
hmmm Deep Red...
that could be fun...

or do i need to go white with filters... which is a pain since I have a crystal chamber... i dunno...

thanks for the answer!

still waiting for my Lee Filters to come in...
I'm only working with a 24" blade, so... i might not need super bright tomake it look good...
that part might have to wait for my next saber....

seoul and cree are 2 differant companys and the p4 is from the seoul company. the q5 from cree is the close cousin to the SSCP4

>< my bad, it's the seoul P4 I'm referencing, it's an easy match to k2 specs but way brighter.

LuxIII specs, around twice the lumen output of the k2
