2.1mm recharge ports.

Is there a shorter 2.1mm port that works with the 2.1 plug that in the store? Or would bending the tabs over to the side work? would it be safe at all?

I have already bent the tabs on mine when doing the test fit on a piece of 1.25 thin-walled PVC. As long as you use shrink, I don't think there will beany problems.

Ok, thats good. Found my space issues now I just need to make room for the recharge port.

Bending the tabs is fine. I like to flow the solder over the bend point to make it solid. Works great.
