Nylon blade tips

I guess this question is mainly for X-Wing, as he is nylon blade man...

I'm looking to buy some nylon tube to try and make some of my own saber blades, having heard only good things about X-wing's blades being bright, even and lit to the edges rather than as a "light in a tube".

I've found a couple of sources for the tube, but I'm not sure what to do for blade tips?

Any advice or suggestions is very much appreciated.

It's 1/16" tube so its the same as the thin wall polyc, the thin wall tip should work (?)

Yeah, I said it in e-mail...

I use TCSS's thin tips. (I made a thick walled one recently, but I'd rather keep that to a minimum since it's dimmer)

For the sack of uniformity I thought about making nylon ones, but I roll my eyes at the people who say the "it doesn't have a metalic sheen when OFF" that I thought it'd be hypocritical. It looks great ON so if it's funny off who gives? Not me...
