MR replica conversion

I'm going to ask something crazy, so I know I'll catch flak for it. I purchased a Qui-Gonn Jinn MR full sized replica awhile back. I wouldn't touch it, but wondered if you convert that thing somehow to a luxeon. I know some have made excellent ones here, but they made theirs. So, there it is. Blast away.

Nope, they're solid. Any attempt to change them will probably mar it.

If you had a lathe, then maybe... But first you have to disassemble it.
Does anyone know a good way to disassemble it? It looks as if mine is glued together.
