I have kind of a newbie question to ask and I haven't been able to find an answer for it. I saw pictures of MHS hilts with FX saber parts, namely the ROTJ Luke pommel. What exactly do I need to do, if possible, to attach the pommel to a center MHS section? I'd appreciate any help on this. Thanks!

Well... you COULD just opt for this part:

But if you're dead-set on adding a specifically FX Luke pommel to an MHS... well, you could just drill and tap, add some screws and possibly a little "spacer" material if need be. It really depends on what section to which you'd be adding it.

Me, I'd K.I.S.S. it and get the $8 or $9 pommel! :)

ya that is pretty much all you need is one of the cheap pommels and add a spacer between the speaker and luke pommel. I had tim custom make me one,

but I wanted the pommel to sit a little farther down so I just wet sanded off what I needed off. this is how it turned out.

Sweet saber. Thanks for the response guys. I just wanted to know if I could save some time drilling and tapping a D ring on my new saber. Looks like it'll just be easier that way. Thanks again!
